The Detroit Pistons have pulled off some amazing trades in their history. Here are the best gifts the Pistons have ever gotten from other teams.

The holiday season is a time of generosity and giving to others. Along with gift giving, this time of the year is filled with family, friends and NBA basketball. The NBA season is in full swing at this point, and trade rumors are starting to swirl around the league as teams look to find the missing pieces to complete their rosters.

With the holiday season and trade season in the NBA so closely intertwined, it got me thinking, what are the best trade steals, or gifts, that the Detroit Pistons have gotten from other teams?

The Pistons have seen plenty of trades completed throughout their history, some being much more memorable than others. While the different front office regimes have made some moves that have left fans scratching their heads and throwing remotes through televisions (Chauncey Billups for Allen Iverson, anyone?), there have been some absolute steals pulled of by the organization as well.

There have been numerous times that the Pistons have come away with a star, franchise-altering player while giving up little in return, and these moves have all helped shaped the Pistons into a championship-winning organization.

With that said, in no particular order, here are my top 10  greatest gifts that the Pistons have ever received from other teams.
