Detroit Pistons: Ranking the best trade destinations for Andre Drummond
1. Dallas Mavericks
I’ll admit, I really want to see this one.
The Dallas Mavericks are 22-12, good for fifth place in the Western Conference so far. The Mavericks are led by Luka Doncic, who is averaging 29.1 points per game and assisting his teammates 8.9 times per game.

Drummond would be the perfect fit next to Kristaps Porzingis, as his rim protection and physical ability would compliment Porzingis’s crafty offensive game on the perimeter. Drummond would also be surrounded by good shooters, including Seth Curry at 41% and Tim Hardaway Jr. at 38.2% from three.
An asset that the Pistons could eye in return could be Jalen Brunson, the second-year point guard. To match the salary, the Mavericks could send the expiring salary of Courtney Lee, along with Dwight Powell, Brunson and some draft assets for Drummond and Thon Maker.
Drummond would be an amazing fit with these Dallas Mavericks, and they could afford to give him a nice contract in the offseason, especially if he helps spark a deep playoff run in the Western Conference.
