Bruce Brown is a gem that the Detroit Pistons found in the second round, which begs the question as to where he’d be drafted in a 2018 NBA re-draft.

During Ed Stefanski’s first draft with the Detroit Pistons in 2018, he selected Bruce Brown with the 42nd pick. Many considered Brown to be an afterthought, since the front office had just traded two future second round picks to acquire Khyri Thomas, another guard at 38th overall.

However, Brown has been the player to stick out from the 2018 draft, and has given fans confidence in the front offices ability to find talent late in the draft.

The 2018 draft featured an interesting mix of superstar level talent, along with some very disappointing outcomes for players selected in the first round. Headlined by Luka Doncic and Trae Young, there were a few draft night trades that shook things up as well.

With that being said, it’s time to get down to business.
