3 takeaways from the Detroit Pistons 125-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies

A wild Louis King has appeared!
Louis King checked into the game early in the second quarter Friday night for just his sixth appearance this season for the Pistons.
Coming into the game, King — an undrafted rookie out of Oregon — hadn’t played over four minutes in an NBA game.
Friday he doubled that total in the first half by playing an early eight minutes in the second quarter. He’d play a total of 14 minutes for the night.
King didn’t show out on the stat sheet but played poised and effective basketball in a crucial time as the team’s bench unit worked to come back from a 35-23 first-quarter deficit.
The Pistons outscored the Grizzlies the second quarter 38-31.
King finished the game with three points, three assists, and four rebounds and was one of only two Pistons to finish with a positive plus-minus (+15).
He will likely serve as an on-and-off experiment for the rest of the season should it stay on its current trajectory.
