No, the Pistons did not trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. They did acquire Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez in this simulation though. This trade looks like a clear win for the Pistons. There really does not seem to be much incentive for the Bucks to make this trade in real life.
Middleton is essentially a much better version of Tony Snell so that is a victory for the Pistons. Then trading a traditional center in Drummond for a more modern floor-spacing center like Lopez is a huge victory. Swapping Drummond for Lopez is something that would be a welcomed sight by Pistons fans if it were to happen in real life.
Compared to how the other simulations have gone, this trade was rather successful. The Pistons ended with their second highest record amongst all the simulations (30-52) and finished 26th in the NBA, once again missing the playoffs.
