An interesting fact

Though the Pistons at times might have a product that’s struggling mightily, they still have assets. They have players that other franchises are interested in, and that’s made evident in this tweet that was sent out during tonight’s game.

It’s hard to imagine that this won’t mean anything. It could be nothing, but there’s likely something there. Whether it’s about Rose, Drummond, Langston Galloway, or Markieff Morris, teams are paying attention to what Detroit has.

It’s an interesting wrinkle in what was otherwise an underwhelming night. Whatever teams had representatives in attendance tonight can clearly see how the Pistons are struggling.

While trying to avoid speculation completely, one interesting thing to note is how Drummond turned around his performance in the second half. He more or less became the post dominant player that we know him as.

Could that be because he was aware of who was in attendance and wanted to impress? Who knows.

Detroit will likely be looking to make some moves at the upcoming trade deadline to shape their roster in a way that makes the ultimate goal clearer; losing. How they choose to go about this is still up in the air, but it’s still safe to assume a direction will be chosen.
