Trade 1

It seems like so long ago that the talk of the NBA was whether or not to draft Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker with the No. 1 overall pick. Those two were expected to take the league by storm. Wiggins has finally made strides towards becoming the star player he was expected to be coming out college.

Parker’s career on the other hand has unfortunately been limited due to a myriad of injuries. Despite these injuries, when healthy Parker has been able to consistently put up around 15 points per game and even averaged 20 points per game one season.

Parker would be another young forward to add to the core for the Pistons. Following the big trade for the Pistons, they finished the season 34-48, which was good enough for ninth in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons fell one game short of making the playoffs and Drummond finished the season being named to the All-Defensive First Team and the All-NBA Second Team.
