Trade 4

This trade for the Pistons would essentially be moving their young core for another, even younger core. Carsen Edwards is looking like he could carve a career as a solid scorer for a team.

So far in his rookie season Edwards has not had much playing time. In 9.6 minutes per game through 30 games, Edwards has scored more than 10 points on three occasions with his career high currently being 18 points.

A large portion of Edwards playing time is spent playing for the Celtics G League affiliate and, boy, has he filled it up in his time there. In the 11 games Edwards has spent in the G League he has averaged 23.5 points per game. During his time there he has high’s of 41 points, 33 points, and 28 points.

Robert Williams, on the other hand, is an athletic young big who could aid the Pistons in a post-Drummond world. The Pistons ended the season 26-56 which got them 14th in the Eastern Conference and Drummond had a great season being named to the All-NBA First Team and All-Defensive First Team.
