Was this the final game with Drummond?

With the trade deadline looming, at 3PM EST on February 6th the Pistons roster could have quite the shakeup. With rumors surrounding seemingly everyone, this game may have been our final look at some of these players.

If this truly was a send-off game for Drummond, there was genuinely no better way to go out. An absolutely dominating performance with 31 points 19 rebounds and 2 steals on 73 percent shooting.

With Drummond, Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard and Markieff Morris all being the main focus in trade rumors, a reality where Detroit parts with one if not a few of them is entirely within the realm of possibility if the return is there.

Conspirators will say that the reason Drummond played so well tonight was to give one final showcase of his talents to opposing executives. In reality, Detroit was playing a team who lacks an interior presence, and it showed. His dominance went unmatched.

After the game, he was asked about whether or not he considered this may be his final game as a Piston.

There’s a substantial chance that Drummond won’t be moved at the deadline, and for all intense and purposes that’s how everyone should carry on. In the event that it was, then words will never truly be able to express how thankful we are for his time in Detroit.
