If you’re reading this, it’s too late. Andre Drummond is no longer with the Detroit Pistons — and it’s time to reminisce.

The Detroit Pistons showed they’re moving forward as a franchise when they traded longtime center Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Despite the lackluster return, the Pistons showed they were not willing to risk losing Drummond for nothing in the 2020 offseason — a smart business decision.

However, it doesn’t make parting with a franchise player any easier.

Drummond began his career in Detroit with high expectations. The Pistons selected the University of Connecticut product with the 9th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
