The College game of the week is a must-watch for fans of the game and Pistons fans. Both sides have top of the lottery prospects giving a lot for Pistons fans to see. Tyrese Maxey and Isaac Okoro are the major prospects for the game.

Additional players that will be drafted on the Wildcats will be guards Immanuel Quickley and Ashton Hagans, and big man Nick Richards. Quickley has quickly flown up mock drafts due to his recent streak of scoring and his lethal three ball. Quickley’s scoring has directly correlated to the revival of this year’s Kentucky team.

Hagans’ defense is what has him at the end of the first round of a lot of drafts. As we know the draft gets crazy and anywhere from picks 20-40 is a complete guess so the Pistons could slide back into the second round to draft him.

Richards is the typical college big man who would have a limited role at best in the NBA. He will likely go undrafted, but the Pistons should look to sign him to a Summer League contract as he’s got some great post moves.

For the Tigers, Isaac Okoro will be the only potential prospect to be drafted. Point guard Samir Doughty might get some time in the G League or Summer League but that’s his ceiling.

There will be a lot to look for in this game and since the players the Pistons would look to take if the lottery balls aren’t in our favor — Okoro and Maxey — are young and raw, Pistons fans will be able to see pretty clearly their strengths and weaknesses. Another reason I added in this game is that this will be a very fun to watch, close and contested game, all things us poor Pistons fans have been deprived of. The last meeting resulted in a 75-66 victory for the Tigers so the Wildcats will be on the prowl for revenge, likely leading to another game with many lead changes and ties, keeping your eyes glued to the TV.
