With some talent on display in the college basketball world this week, what are some games Detroit Pistons fans should be focusing on?

Fans of the Detroit Pistons will have plenty of prospects to keep their eyes on as we move closer to March Madness.

We are starting to come down the home stretch of the College Basketball season as the regular season comes to an end and it’s time for the conference tournaments.

After watching Anthony Edwards absolutely go off against Arkansas, I’m officially a fan of him and the Pistons selecting him with our pick this year. His 26 points led the Bulldogs in an absolute shootout victory, 99-89.

Isiah Joe also scored 26 points and was 4-10 from distance in the first game I’ve payed any attention to him. He was actually not half bad, could he be the next seal for the Pistons if they move into the second round?

Kentucky and Auburn was a great game where Kentucky clinched the SEC regular season title, winning 73-66. As far as the prospects in that game, Isaac Okoro had a night to forget shooting 1-6 from the field and getting six of his nine points from the free throw line.

Guards Tyrese Maxey and Immanuel Quickley were able to command the game with Maxey scoring 17 points and grabbing seven rebounds while Quickley had one of the more random double-doubles getting 18 rebounds and a game high 12 rebounds.

Ashton Hagans had a stellar defensive game with three steals, and Nick Richards did his job shooting 100%, scoring 14 points, and adding two blocks.

At the time of writing this, the Baylor game has yet to start but both teams will be hungry for this victory as each team lost on Saturday in a chaos filled weekend seeing 9 of the 17 ranked teams being upset.

Jared Butler had a bad shooting night but scored 18 points with only one point coming from the free throw line. Turnovers and bad shooting were the reasons for the loss so Baylor will come out hot against the Red Raiders.

Jahmi’us Ramsey scored only 13 points on 4-13 shooting. Texas Tech carried a seven-point lead into halftime but were blitzed by Texas who seemingly didn’t miss a three-pointer for the rest of the game as they outscored Texas Tech 38-21 in the second half, winning by a final score of 68-58.

Look for the Red Raiders to try and limit the perimeter shooting of the Baylor Bears.
