. C. Boston Celtics. Isaiah Stewart . 26. player. 18

The Celtics were plagued by poor center play this season, and will ideally look to fix that.

Isaiah Stewart is primarily a post dominant big man. As soon as he enters the paint he’s the one dictating the pace and plays his own game.

He’s shown that he’s capable of being more versatile as an offensive product, developing a mid range game and even a slight perimeter shot as his career moves along. He’s not selfish with the ball in his hands, and knows when to pass out of the post if his shot isn’t there.

He’s a defensive force and can even guard his man along the perimeter. His quick second jump and exceptional length has turned him into a reliable rebounder.

. PF . New York Knicks. Patrick Williams. 27. player. 27

Patrick Williams is a player who could help provide more efficiency to a struggling and often dysfunctional Knicks offense.

Williams could easily be used as a solid pick and popper, but beyond that game he’s still a project for whoever drafts him. He’s a decent passer who rarely commits turnovers, and can elevate the play of others around him.

His finishing needs work, but he’s consistent enough on the offensive end that New York could easily find a way to make him work.

81. . PF/C. Toronto Raptors. Jalen Smith . 28. player

A solid rim protector on the defensive end and a reliable pick and popper on offense, Jalen Smith would be a nice project for the Raptors as they navigate their way through their championship window. He also has a pretty solid inside game.

Once he leaves the paint on defense however, he struggles a bit. He often gives his opponent too much space and can’t close out in time. The same issue arrives along the perimeter. If he sticks to defending his position, he should be alright.

20. . PG . Los Angeles Lakers. Cassius Winston . 29. player

One of the biggest issues the Lakers had this season was the inconsistent point guard play. Cassisus Winston would provide an immediate spark and fill the role that Rajon Rondo has been playing for them.

Winston is one of the best point guards in Big Ten history. He has a pass first mentality which goes enormous lengths when you’re playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. His low dribble in pick and rolls is incredibly difficult to defend and he possesses the vision to make any pass that you can possibly think to make.

His three-point shooting has gotten better over time, and he emerged as a true scorer as his career at Michigan State went on.

. C. Boston Celtics. Vernon Carey Jr. . 30. player. 18

Carey has a plethora of post moves in his arsenal. He has an effective spin move, can get defenders to bite on a jab step, and may be the best player in the draft at utilizing the glass. His sheer size is a force in the paint.

Next to Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum, he would be a lethal pick and roll option. He does tend to get complacent with his shots at times, and he’ll have to fine tune that in order to maximize his output at the next level.

Next. The Detroit Pistons will always be home for Dennis Rodman. dark
