#5 Detroit Pistons

Pick Odds: Pick 1 (10.5%), Pick 2 (10.5%), Pick 3 (10.6%), Pick 4 (10.5%), Pick 5 (2.2%), Pick 6 (19.6%), Pick 7 (26.7%), Pick 8 (8.7%), Pick 9 (0.6%), Average pick of 5
Biggest Needs: Point Guard, Shooting Guard
Big Board: LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Killian Hayes, Deni Avdija

In conclusion, the teams that the Pistons really want to se before our logo on lottery night would be the Knicks primarily, followed by the Timberwolves, but mostly the Knicks.

The Pistons could go in a number of options but purely based on us trading away Drummond, it would be really hard to see another Detroit organization trade away one of their best players just to use their draft selection to replace it, oh wait… the Lions did that with Darius Slay, so nothing is impossible.

For me, I would be most happy with one of LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, or Killian Hayes, I would be okay with Obi Toppin or Deni Avdija, I would understand Tyrese Haliburton or the centers, but I would be furious with a Cole Anthony or an Isaac Okoro.

I’ve somehow convinced myself that either LaMelo or Killian will be on the board for the Pistons at whatever pick they will have but moving up will always help.
