84. . SF. Sacramento Kings. Saddiq Bey. 12. player

It is entirely within the realm of possibility that the Sacramento Kings decided to draft a point guard here, adding insurance behind De’Aaron Fox. However, there’s a chance that they could go into next season without much depth on the wings.

Saddiq Bey is a 6-foot-8 three-point specialist that once he’s better acclimated to the NBA could be a legitimate third scoring option for whoever drafts him. He knocked down 45.1 percent of his threes last season, and scored 16.1 points per game.

He’s a solid defender and possesses a high basketball IQ. His understanding of the game has gotten better with every game that he’s played, and it’ll translate well at the next level.

Bey is able to consistently defend positions 2-4, and shows relentless effort one both ends of the floor. The Kings have an interesting mix of young players, but they’re going to need more players who can space the floor.

He’s responsible with the ball in his hands and has shown an ability to create for others. Bey was one of the top players in one of college basketball’s toughest conferences last season, and possesses tremendous upside for a Kings team who’s still trying to find their identity.
