What did the Detroit Pistons get the fans to celebrate the holiday season?

For those who are celebrating, we hope that you’re having a very merry Christmas. For those who aren’t, happy holidays! In what has been an otherwise chaotic and unpredictable year, the Detroit Pistons finally came back to us.

Basketball has returned, with the preseason wrapping up (no pun intended) last week, and the regular season tipping off just a few days ago, Detroit basketball is officially back.

We went nearly 300 days without them playing a single game and since then, the roster was flipped upside down. Fan favorites were shipped out, waived, stretched, left un-signed, the works.

Conversely, some new faces were brought in that hope to emulate the culture and success that the Pistons have historically seen. This season is the start of what is largely assumed to be a complete and total rebuild.

Something that was long overdue for Detroit, accepting a rebuild was a major sigh of relief for fans. Gone are the days of trying to compete on the fly while simultaneously trying to develop talent. It just never worked.

So while it’s expected that we’ll be near the bottom of the standings for a few years, we all know that it’s hopefully for the best. Troy Weaver’s vision is clear, and he desperately wants to return the Pistons back to their former glory.

So with that in mind, what presents did they get for us this year?
