The Detroit Pistons may be able to get more for Derrick Rose if they trade him soon.

Recent injuries may have created an opportunity for the Detroit Pistons to trade Derrick Rose.

There are two teams with playoff aspirations who have recently lost guards to season-ending injuries.

Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets is out for the season after having ACl surgery and yesterday it was announced that Markelle Fultz of the Orlando Magic suffered the same fate.

This is bad luck for both players and I wish them a speedy recovery, but their injuries may have left both teams searching for a guard.

The Nets have title hopes after the return of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving and the Magic have been the surprise team of the NBA, starting the season 6-2.

Derrick Rose could be a potential fit for either of them as a playmaker and scorer off the bench, something he has proven he can do very well.

The question is how much they would be willing to give up to get him.

At the moment Derrick Rose is day-to-day after leaving the game against the Bucks with what looked like a minor injury, so obviously, he has to prove he is healthy before anyone would trade for him.

Let’s take a look at what the Detroit Pistons might be able to get from either team, starting with the Nets.
