Detroit Pistons: Jerami Grant should dominate

Jerami Grant domination

If you play daily fantasy basketball, I would highly recommend picking up Jerami Grant for this game against the Miami Heat.

With both Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo out, Grant should feast by getting to the rim and finishing as he has all season.

Grant has to be the frontrunner for MIP at this point, as he has doubled his scoring average and become the Pistons’  go-to guy with more opportunity.

He has a chance to have a monster game against the Heat, which he will need if he wants to take home some hardware this season.

It won’t be easy for a guy on a bad team to win MIP, but if Grant can put up huge stats against shorthanded teams, his case will be a lot stronger.

The Heat will be without a player who can defend Grant, so the Pistons should go to him early and often.

But Grant shouldn’t force things. This would be a perfect game for him to find his teammates more often out of double teams and penetration.

Grant will be the focus of the offense and should have a well-rounded game with both points and assists.

It should be interesting against the Heat, and the Detroit Pistons have a chance to showcase Grant and some of the young guys.
