Detroit Pistons: What is Blake Griffin’s trade value?

Blake Griffin

After looking like he was starting to turn things around, Blake Griffin has returned to his struggles.

This is possibly the worst week of basketball Blake Griffin has played since he was a kid and whatever trade value he might have had has gone out the window.

Griffin continues to play big minutes even though he has been awful, which is not only hurting the team but also their young guys who are sitting on the bench watching.

It was actually nice to see him get a night off, something I hope Dwane Casey does more of in the future.

With Blake out, the ball movement was so much better, the Pistons played faster and were generally much more enjoyable to watch.

Blake has been worse the more he’s played so Casey needs to find a balance between getting him enough minutes to showcase that he is healthy but not so many that he is not playing the young guys.

The Detroit Pistons’ season will be a success if they can develop young players and end with a top pick in the draft. So far, so good.
