Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Injury report

The Detroit Pistons will be without Blake Griffin (left knee injury management) for the second time in three games. Derrick Rose is back after missing the past two games with knee soreness. Of course, Killian Hayes remains out with a torn labrum.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be with out Matthew Dellavedova (concussion) and Kevin Love (right calf strain). They will also not have Marques Bolden who is going to Florida to play in the G-League. Larry Nance Jr. (sprained right wrist) and Lamar Stevens (right abdominal strain) are both questionable.

Pistons odds against Cavaliers on Wednesday

Detroit Pistons: They are coming off an impressive victory, a dominating performance against the East-Leading 76ers so they are filled with confidence. They also will remember their last game against Cleveland, a double overtime loss in which they twice blew big leads. And remember, Detroit does not get blown out.

Cleveland Cavaliers: They are coming off an emotional loss to the Lakers, so a letdown is possible. Even though most pre-season predictions had the Cavaliers finishing behind the Pistons, they are doing better than expected and looking to make the playoffs, so no tanking on their part. Their reputation is great offense, not so hot on defense.

Pistons odds best bet: (1-2): Go with the over.

Detroit does not have a lot of firepower outside of Jerami Grant, but what little they have, is playing well. Wayne Ellington is shooting the best of his 12-year career. They should do well on the boards, as they are much bigger than Cleveland (outside of center).

The Cavaliers have two great guards, but they are both 6-foot-1, which means they are fast, but can be exploited defensively. It should be a close battle, and quite a high-scoring one.
