Detroit Pistons: Which young players will get minutes?
Dwane Casey has been adamant about making his young players “earn” minutes, which means their time on the floor has been sporadic and inconsistent.
Why this doesn’t apply to Blake Griffin is a totally different story indeed.
Just about all of the young players have been in Casey’s doghouse at some point, and it has varied from game to game.
Most recently, Saddiq Bey has found himself on the bench next to Sekou Doumbouya, who has pretty much been there all year.
Isaiah Stewart has worked his way out of the doghouse after seeing his minutes cut for a few games and Svi Mykhailiuk’s playing time seems to hinge on every shot he takes.
So who is it going to be tonight?
One of the more interesting storylines to follow this season is how Dwane Casey is trying to use minutes to develop his young guys.
