Detroit Pistons: What is the trade value of Derrick Rose and Wayne Ellington?

Another narrative that will dominate the Detroit Pistons this season is the status of veterans Derrick Rose and Wayne Ellington.

They are both in the final years of their deals and may be able to fetch the PIstons some assets at the trade deadline.

Both of them are drawing interest and their value might never be higher. Unfortunately, there is still time for their value to plummet.

Wayne Ellington’s shooting does not seem sustainable considering he is currently shooting over 50 percent from long range.

Same with Derrick Rose’s health, as he has been in and out of the lineup and has not been consistently effective off the bench.

It’s important that the Pistons keep both of these guys healthy and playing well so that their trade value is high.

Rose didn’t play against the Jazz in the first game and Ellington’s minutes were limited, so the Jazz will be getting a new look Pistons’ team tonight.

Let’s hope the Pistons’ veterans can make the most of it.
