Detroit Pistons: Svi Mykhailiuk’s 3-point shooting

Another thing I really don’t want to see against the Los Angeles Lakers is more bricks from Svi Mykhailiuk.

Svi has been flat-out awful this season, shooting just 31 percent from long-range, the worst of his young career.

The last four games have been even worse, as he has made just 1-of-10 from behind the arc. Ouch.

Mykhailiuk is a player I wanted to see more of coming into the season, as he is on the final year of his deal and could be the shooter the Detroit Pistons need, but at this point, I have almost seen enough.

Dwane Casey either has to get Mykhailiuk more minutes so that he can find a rhythm or he shouldn’t be in there at all, as playing sporadically or not at all has done nothing but kill his confidence.

Ideally, Mykhailiuk will go off against the Lakers, make about 7-8 from long-range and kickstart his season but I’m not holding my breath at this point.
