Detroit Pistons Stock Exchange: Which players are trending at the break?

The Detroit Pistons are pretty much exactly where they want to be at the midway point of the season.

They have the second-worst record overall, are headed for a top-pick but are getting promising contributions from their young players as they try to develop talent and rebuild.

Saddiq Bey has been a steal as the 19th pick, Jerami Grant has blossomed into a star and young players like Saben Lee have thrived in unexpected roles.

As the team heads into the All-Star break, there are a number of players and even a member of the front office who are trending in the right direction while a couple of guys are going the other way.

It’s too early to tell what is going on with Jerami Grant, who missed the final two games of the first half with injury.

Same with Isaiah Stewart and Svi Mykhailiuk, who have been steady but not spectacular as of late. Dennis Smith Jr. has been okay, logging his first triple-double against the Raptors, but it is still too early to guess which direction he might go in the second half.

Rodney McGruder has put together two decent games in a row, but I’d hardly call it a trend, so let’s take a look at the guys whose play has been a little more consistent one way or another.
