Detroit Pistons fans have college basketball to watch.

After a hectic weekend full of major upsets, including #12 seed Oregon State beating #7 Loyola of  Chicago (we are sad for Sister Jean), and #11 UCLA upsetting #2 Alabama, despite the Crimson Tide’s heroics to force overtime, we have eight teams remaining in March Madness.

Each team remaining is now one step away from making the Final Four.

Among those eight, there are plenty of prospects that could eventually don the Detroit Pistons’ uniform in the near future.

Here, we will have a breakdown that will feature not only the players to be selected with the Pistons first-round pick, but with Detroit’s three second round selections. Of course, knowing GM Troy Weaver, the number of draft choices the Pistons end having by draft day could grow.

The games are spread out over two nights. Usually, they occur the following weekend, but since everyone is in a hotel in Indiana until they are finished, not much sense in waiting.

Monday night, we have contests between #1 Baylor and #3 Arkansas, preceded by #12 Oregon State and #2 Houston.

Tuesday night starts off with the top seeded #1 overall Gonzaga vs #6 USC and ends with our own #1 seeded Michigan Wolverines taking on the #11 UCLA Bruins.

Here is a breakdown of who to watch for in each game.
