2020 NBA Draft: Redrafting the top ten, pick No. 3

Point Guard. Charlotte Hornets. Pick Analysis. Tyrese Haliburton. 3. player. 170. Scouting Report

Tyrese Haliburton has been very solid this season and now looks like the second-best point guard from the draft.

The Hornets probably would have taken Wiseman here, but given what they know now, Haliburton is the clear pick.

He’s not as flashy as LaMelo and probably doesn’t have as high a ceiling but he already looks like a veteran point guard in his rookie season.

Haliburton can score from all over the floor, is a good passer averaging five assists per game mostly off the bench and can defend his position.

The Hornets wanted a point guard to go with the promising young trio of players they already had, so getting Haliburton would be a pretty good consolation prize after missing out on LaMelo Ball.

Haliburton looks like a guy who is going to have a solid and long career and will probably make a few All-Star games along the way.
