Detroit Pistons: Mock Draft 3.0 pick No. 10

Forward. Franz Wagner. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 142. Michigan / Washington Wizards. 10

The Wizards are one of the most difficult to predict teams in this draft, as they went from lottery contender to play-in contender with some red hot play down the stretch.

I would have bet my pinkie toes that Beal and Westbrook would not be on the team by now, but here they still are. Both are playing well and it looks like pairing that might work, especially if they can add the right players around them.

If they plan to trade one or both of them this offseason, then they might go for a guard here, but if the Wizards plan to compete with Beal and Westbrook (which now seems likely) they could go for another versatile forward to go with Hachimura and Avdija.

Wagner can defend a few spots, is a good playmaker and rebounder and would be a great glue-guy to go along with the stars they already have.
