The New Orleans Pelicans need shooters and defenders and Moody is a guy who could provide both.
He has enough size to defend the guard spots as well as the wing, so he would slot in well with Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, who are not the greatest defenders.
The Pelicans could move on from Lonzo Ball and Eric Bledsoe in the offseason, so they will need more depth at guard.
Moody is a guy who can score from all over, rebounds well for his position and has good hands on defense.
The Pelicans are not far from being a good team, as they already have the upper tier young talent, but they need solid role players who can shoot and defend, so Moody would be nice get for them with the 11th pick.
