Detroit Pistons Mock Draft 3.0: Picks No. 27-30

Neemias Queta. 27. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Center. Utah State / Brooklyn Nets. player. 147

The Nets could use a shot blocker to eventually replace DeAndre Jordan and Queta is one of the best in the draft.

He is a controversial prospect, as he played for a small school and is a bit older at 21, but he can pass, rebound and defend the rim at 7-feet, so he would be a fit on the Nets.

Ayo Dosunmu. 73. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 28. player. Forward. Illinois / Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets could use a glue guy defender who can knock down 3-pointers to replace the one they let get away in Jerami Grant.

They don’t need playmakers as they already have two of the best in the league, so the Nuggets will go for Dosunmu, who can do a little bit of everything and will fit their culture.

player. 66. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Joel Ayayi. Guard. Gonzaga / Phoenix Suns. 29

The Suns would love to add another versatile winner to their team, and Ayayi fits the profile.

He is a tough defender, can do a little of everything and would help just about any team in the NBA off the bench.

He would fit well as a backup to both Chris Pau and Devin Booker.

Pick Analysis. Virginia / Utah Jazz. 30. Scouting Report. Guard/ Small Forward. Troy Murphy III. player. 118

The Jazz will build on their 3-point shooting, which is already near the top of the NBA. Murphy is a big shooting guard/small forward who projects as one of the best pure shooters in the draft, though he doesn’t do much else.

He would be a nice complement to the players they already have and would provide them with some instant scoring off the bench.
