Detroit Pistons: Miami Heat free agent Kendrick Nunn

The Miami Heat have a ton of free agents including two young scorers in Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn. Robinson is a guy would would fit the Detroit Pistons perfectly, but will likely be out of their range.

It’s doubtful that Miami will be able to keep them both and if not, Nunn is the likely odd man out. He is a guy who could really help the Pistons’ scoring and may blow up if given an expanded role off the bench.

He has improved his 3-point shooting and would give the Pistons a reliable scorer in the second unit. He is a guy who is just entering his prime and shot 39 percent from long range this season.

The biggest issue with Nunn is cost, as he is probably going to be just out of the Pistons’ range depending on what they do with their own free agents. There is some amount of fit here and he is a guy I expect the Pistons will at least kick the tires on in the offseason.

Detroit Pistons free agency: Atlanta Hawks, Tony Snell?

NOOOOOOOOOO!

The Hawks don’t really have a guy who is heading into free agency that would interest the Detroit Pistons, so how about former Pistons’ corpse Tony Snell?

Snell just completed the first 50/50/100 season in NBA history (no really), shooting 50 percent from the field, 3-point range and 100 percent from the line.

The Detroit Pistons desperately need 3-point shooting but not so desperately that they would bring this dud back into the mix.
