The Hawks are middle-of-the-pack in 3-point shooting and would love to add some additional floor spacing around budding star Trae Young.

Duarte is a guy who will come into the NBA ready to play as he is coming off his senior season, and he already has an NBA-ready skill which is long-range shooting.

Duarte hit 42.4 percent of his 3-point shots on a fairly high volume, so expect him to make an impact for someone as a shooter off the bench.

Duarte doesn’t have the highest ceiling but his floor is solid NBA role player, which is exactly what the Hawks need around their young star.
