NBA Draft: Why the Detroit Pistons should draft Sandro Mamukelashvili
Continuing the breakdown of guys I would love for the Detroit Pistons to take with one of their second round picks, I turn my attention to a big man today. Sandro Mamukelashvili is a power forward/center prospect out of Seton Hall. He is listed at 6-foot-11inches and 240 pounds.
Just to give you a little background info on the young man, he is Georgian, but was born in New York City. When he was a baby, his family moved back to Tbilisi in Georgia and lived there until Sandro turned 14. He then moved to Italy when he started high school and two years later moved to the United States to attend Monte Verde Academy where he played alongside current New York Knick RJ Barrett.
