Pistons draft picks: NBA Draft prospect Roko Prkacin

Teams are going to be intrigued by Prkacin’s combination of size and skill, especially considering he’ll be one of the youngest players in the draft and already has professional experience.

The Pistons desperately need more players who can create and make plays, as right now they pretty much have just Jerami Grant and Killian Hayes.

Grant might not be a true number one scoring option, and Hayes still lacks the shooting to finish once he gets into the lane.

This is something that Prkacin is very good at, so he would fit in as a guy who can get his own shot and set up shooters when the defense collapses.

Prkacin plays with an edge and is a willing defender, so I think he has the mindset to fit in with what the Pistons are building. He is a second round pick with potential as a first round talent.

If the Pistons are going to go with Isaiah Stewart at center, it makes sense to pair him with a guy who can score and make plays off the bounce.

Detroit might end up drafting some players in the second round who won’t join the team for a year or two and Roko Prkacin will be a guy who gets a long look.
