Detroit Pistons: NBA Mock Draft 5.0 pick No. 19

Jaden Springer. 19. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Guard. Tennessee/ New York Knicks. 27

The Knicks are going to be one of the biggest wildcard teams of the offseason, as they have seven potential free agents and could go in a number of ways.

This year’s team wasn’t sustainable, as it relied too heavily on veterans who might win in the regular season but got exposed in the playoffs.

I could see the Knicks trying to trade this pick to get another player in part of a big trade, but unfortunately for them the 19th pick isn’t going to move the needle much unless they got lucky and found a guy like Saddiq Bey.

Springer is a versatile guard who can shoot the 3-pointer and Tom Thibodeau would love his defense, so I could see the Knicks grabbing him to put with Barrett and Quickley.
