Detroit Pistons: NBA Mock Draft 5.0 pick No. 5

38. Scouting Report. Jonathan Kuminga. 5. player. Pick Analysis. Small Forward. G-league / Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic couldn’t have been too excited to move back two spots in the NBA Draft, but they will still have a chance at a very talented player in Jonathan Kuminga.

Kuminga apparently had an outstanding workout at the Chicago Combine, putting to rest some worries people have about his shooting.

He is an elite athlete with all of the physical tools, but didn’t shoot the ball well in his one year in the G-League.

The Magic already have a trio of talented young guards and would love to add another forward to pair with Jonathan Isaac.

You have to give the Magic credit, even though they moved back in the draft, they still have two picks and are in a lot better shape than they were at this time last season.

They will be bad again next season but at least they’ll be bad with some exciting young talent.
