The Detroit Pistons will have four picks entering the 2021 NBA Draft and could use some of them to make trades.

They will almost certainly use the number one overall pick on Cade Cunningham, who has all the skills to be the next NBA superstar. Adding him to All-Rookies Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart will give the Detroit Pistons one of the best young cores in the league.

The three second-round picks are a different story, as the Pistons won’t have the roster space or need to add three more rookies, so may use those trades to try and move up or grab another player.

This is the final part of the Western Conference, the Pacific Division, which is probably the strongest top to bottom in the NBA with the Suns, Clippers, Lakers, Warriors and Kings all battling for playoff spots this season.

Every team in the division will be trying to win and there are some interesting potential trades with the Detroit Pistons.

Let’s take a look at one potential trade with every team in the division, starting from the bottom and moving up.

Detroit Pistons: NBA Draft trade with the Sacramento Kings

The Kings are a mess once again.

They do have some talented players in Tyrese Haliburton and De’Aaron Fox who form one of the best young backcourts in the NBA, but the roster around them needs a shake up.

There have been rumblings that the Kings want to move on from Marvin Bagley III, so this might be a way for the Pistons to take a flyer on a talented young big man.

Bagley only has one year left on his deal, so the Kings aren’t going to get a ransom for him, though they may be able to do better than this. In this trade, they get back a high-ceiling prospect who is two years younger than Bagley plus center depth with Okafor and the 37th pick in the NBA Draft.

The Detroit Pistons get to take a chance on Bagley, who is still only 22-years-old and would be a nice complement to Isaiah Stewart and Mason Plumlee as he can step out and shoot a little.

I think it would probably take more to get Bagley but given his contract status and inability to stay healthy, I can’t see the Kings getting too much more than this.
