Detroit Pistons: NBA Draft trade with the Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are more or less set for next season as long as Chis Paul opts into the final year of his contract. The Suns will be strapped for cash as they try to fill out the remainder of their roster and might not want to pay a late first-round pick.

This isn’t a blockbuster but would be a way for the Pistons to move into the first round.

The Pistons are likely to do a move like this, as they don’t want to use all of those second-round picks anyway and would prefer to add one guy who they like more.

This might be enough to get a guy like Nah’shon Hyland, who is projected to go in the late first or early second round and is a guy the Pistons reportedly like.

The Detroit Pistons certainly don’t have to make a trade, but it would be nice if they could use one or more of their veteran players or second round picks to move up in the NBA Draft or add a player that better fits their roster.
