This was another pick that came as a bit of a surprise, but if you look at the skillset of Kai Jones, it makes sense.
Jones is a plus athlete who can jump out of the gym, dunk, block shots and has shown the ability to knock down long-range shots as well.
This seems like the perfect type of player to put around LaMelo Ball, who wants to run and throw lobs, something Jones will be very good at.
Jones is a raw prospect who definitely needs more development, but should be able to contribute right way as an athletic big who can protect the rim and fill up the highlight reels.
