Again, I could see a number of scenarios where the Warriors trade these picks, but if they want to stay relevant while also building for the future, it makes sense to just use them.
I think this is a reach for Duarte, who might be the best shooter in this draft but is already 24-years-old. That might not matter to the Warriors, who are trying to win now and probably prefer guys with a little more experience who can play right away.
Duarte would give the Warriors a ton of shooting, which we know they love, and they could run a lot of different lineup combinations that always included an elite shooter on the floor.
The experts mostly picked Duarte here, so I am going to trust their opinion, but I think the Warriors would go in a different direction if they take a guard at seven.
