The Grizzlies love guys who defend and play hard so this pick makes a lot of sense, especially considering where they are as a team, as Butler should be able to compete for a spot right away.
With Ja Morant not playing much defense himself, it makes sense to add another guy to he and Dillon Brooks who can defend and shoot
This will be a theme with Morant, as he is not much of a defender himself, so the Grizzlies will just keep collecting guys like Butler while adding three point shooting around Morant.
I think he is a nice fit on Memphis and some believe he will be the best player to come out of Baylor this draft.
