There is far more intrigue around the second pick than the first, as the Detroit Pistons are almost certainly going to take Cade Cunningham.
But Houston? Initially it looked like Evan Mobley was the choice here, as he fits in with what the Rockets already have and is a highly rated talent, but Green is just too good to pass up.
Green has a chip on his shoulder and thinks he’s the best player in this draft, so he’ll come into the league with something to prove.
He’s got an electric first step and could be an elite scorer in the NBA, though there are some questions about his ability to make plays for teammates.
If some other team really wants Green, I could see Houston trading back, especially if they have their eye on Mobley anyway.
