Prediction 3: The Detroit Pistons will make multiple trades

I think the Detroit Pistons will be busy during the NBA Draft and in the offseason in general, as they have limited roster space and a couple of guys who could net valuable assets in a trade.

There has been some speculation that Mason Plumlee could be on the table, which makes sense, as he is a very good role player who could help a contender and he’s on a team-friendly deal.

But the guy I see the most likely to be moved is Josh Jackson, who is entering the final year of his contract and has a similar skillset as Hamidou Diallo, who the Pistons just extended a qualifying offer.

There are a few teams out there that might be interested in Jackson, especially those who have limited cap space and need a bench player who can contribute at a low cost.

A team like the Lakers might be interested and have the 22nd pick in the draft, which might interest the Pistons.

If the Detroit Pistons don’t have any interest in signing Josh Jackson to an extension, then it makes sense to try and package him in a trade so that they can get something for him.
