Prediction 4: The Detroit Pistons will end up with two picks in the first round of the NBA Draft

This prediction goes hand in hand with the last two, as the Pistons are likely to be looking for a first round pick if they do make a trade.

The Pistons have three picks in the second round that they could try to package to move up, though these picks probably aren’t valuable enough to jump too high.

There are a few teams with multiple picks in the first round (OKC, Houston) that may want to trade into future drafts, so the Pistons could try to use a young player and their second rounders to move up.

There are also some contending teams at the back end of the draft (Lakers, Denver, Nets) who might want a player in exchange for their pick.

This gives the Pistons a few different ways to move up, so if Troy Weaver really likes someone in the latter part of the first round as he did last season with Bey, I could definitely see him making a deal to get a second first-round pick.
