The Detroit Pistons will take on the Houston Rockets in game two of Summer League and all eyes will be on the top two picks in the NBA Draft.

Cade Cunningham vs. Jalen Green is all anyone is talking about, and it makes sense, as the two are going to be connected for their entire careers.

While I think WAY too much importance is put on meaningless Summer League games, particularly from certain loud segments of Twitter, it will be fun to see the first matchup of two guys who have the potential to be superstars.

But there are other things to watch as the Pistons try to build some chemistry, battle for minutes and earn roster spots for the real games.

Here are three things to watch other than Cade Cunningham vs. Jalen Green.

Detroit Pistons: Turnovers

The Pistons committed 20 turnovers in their first Summer League game, a fact that wouldn’t bother me at all if it wasn’t a problem going back to last season.

Detroit was 25th in the league in turnovers per game last season, something that plagued them all year and cost them a ton of games.

With rookie Cade Cunningham and second-year player Killian Hayes as the backcourt, it’s likely that the Pistons are going to struggle in this area again.

Turnovers are going to be part of the narrative of this season, and while I am not going to make too much out of Summer League games, it would be nice to see Detroit pay more attention to this and make some strides in the right direction.
