Counting the two-way contracts, the Detroit Pistons have 16 players on their current roster, and judging by Troy Weaver’s history, any of them could be traded at any time.

Troy Reaper has shown that he is not afraid to pull the trigger on roster moves and there are a handful of players who might not finish the season in Detroit.

The Pistons have a young core that they are building around, but even that is not untouchable, as we have yet to see how some of the parts fit and Weaver wouldn’t hesitate to move anyone if he thought it would make the team better.

Of course, some players are far more likely to be moved than others, so we took a look at the roster and ranked it from least to most untouchable in a trade.

Detroit Pistons: 3 veterans who are very available in a trade

Rodney McGruder

Trey Lyles

Cory Joseph

If the Detroit Pistons needed a veteran contract to help facilitate a trade, then these three are the least untouchable on the roster.

None of them are really part of the long-term plans, though Lyles and Jospeh will certainly be featured in the Pistons’ depth chart.

These three players have very moveable contracts, though I can’t see teams in the NBA lining up to attain their services.

I was actually surprised that the Pistons re-signed McGruder, who only played in 16 games last season and didn’t do much. But with so many young players on the roster, Weaver must have wanted some kind of veteran presence.

If any of these three were needed to make a trade, or even if the Detroit Pistons needed to open up a roster spot, their time in the Motor City would be over.
