The Detroit Pistons will face a daunting task tonight vs. the Brooklyn Nets in the second game of a back-to-back and fans are wondering if Cade Cunningham will play.
The Pistons are coming off a tough loss to the 76ers in which they showed some promising signs of improvement.
Cade had another rough night shooting the ball, but did end the game with a 18 point/10 rebound double-double that got him into the Pistons’ record books.
The Pistons were ultimately undone by an awful second half, and they still struggled hitting open shots, but things are starting to come around, especially for Killian Hayes and Cade Cunningham.
Which is why fans are eager to know if Cade Cunningham will play in the second game of a back-to-back.
Detroit Pistons: Will Cade Cunningham be held out against the Nets?
Even though the Pistons lost last night, you could feel some momentum building, especially in the first half, which was the best of the season so far.
Cade Cunningham is still trying to get back to 100 percent after missing several weeks with an ankle injury, but so far the ankle has looked fine, it’s his legs that have let him down, as he is still short on most of his shots.
He was held out of the first back-to-back the Detroit Pistons had this season, but given that this one is at home, I think he will play, especially considering the Pistons have four days off after this game.
As of right now, Cade Cunningham is not listed on the Pistons’ injury report and there has been no news about whether he will play tonight vs. the Nets. No news is good news in this case, so if we don’t hear something by midday, I think we can expect Cade to be out there.
The Detroit Pistons hope to build off the positives from last night’s loss, and Cade hopes to continue to get his game legs and gain confidence in his shot.
This is going to be a tough game for the Detroit Pistons whether Cade Cunningham plays or not, but I hope we get to see him continue to build off of last night.
