2022 NBA Mock Draft: Pick #8

8. 84. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Forward. Milwaukee / Sacramento Kings. Patrick Baldwin Jr.. player

The Kings are another team that could make a move, as they have a few trade chips in Buddy Hield and De’Aaron Fox that could net them a haul of assets.

It’s hard to say what they would do here, but the Kings have plenty of guards, so an upgrade on the wing makes sense.

Baldwin Jr. would give them size on the perimeter and a guy who is projected to be a good NBA 3-point shooter.

This would allow them to potentially move Harrison Barnes and build around the trio of Haliburton, Mitchell, Baldwin Jr. and whatever haul they get from the guys they trade.

The Kings will almost certainly screw it up because they always do, so it should be fun to watch this mess unravel, as they will probably trade the wrong guy and then have to watch him go off and win an MVP or something. Sorry, Kings fans.
