The next Detroit Pistons trade could be Josh Jackson

Josh Jackson

Odds of being traded: High

Possible return: Prospect and a second-round pick

Josh Jackson should have some amount of value on the trade market since he can produce off the bench (albeit inconsistently) and is on an expiring contract.

I could definitely see a contender or two taking a flyer on Jackson, especially if they need bench depth, as he has shown that he can defend, and every now and then have a big game scoring off the bench.

I also think there might be some interest in keeping him around, as he wants to be in Detroit and is still only 24-years-old, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pistons extended him on a low-ball deal in the offseason if he is not moved.

But with Hamidou Diallo and Saddiq Bey already in the fold, Jackson’s skills are redundant and the Pistons clearly need shooting, so Jackson seems like the most likely guy to be moved, either in a solo deal or as part of something bigger.
