Kings interested in Jerami Grant trade with Pistons: Who says no?
It seems like just about every team in the NBA has been mentioned in a Jerami Grant trade rumor, and the Detroit Pistons will have their pick of them if they do decide to move their leading scorer.
You can catch up on all of the Jerami Grant trade rumors here, though there are certainly some teams that might be flying under the radar.
The latest team to be mentioned is the Sacramento Kings, who have sniffed the play-in tournament this season but ultimately underperformed and may want to reshape their roster.
This doesn’t make a ton of sense to me (more on that later) but the Kings are the Kings, so you never really know what they are up to.
They have a number of interesting young players and potential draft assets to give up and there are a bunch of potential trades for Jerami Grant depending on what the Pistons want.
A possible Jerami Grant to the Kings trade
The Pistons would certainly have interest in guys like De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton, but it is highly unlikely that they are on the table in a Jerami Grant trade.
They may also have some interest in Buddy Hield, though his age, contract and propensity for bad shots may turn the Pistons off even though he is the type of shooter they need.
Here is the best trade I can see for the Pistons that the Kings would actually consider:
This trade would satisfy the report that the Pistons are looking for a young player and first-round pick for Jerami Grant, but is this enough?
Would either team be interested?
