Detroit Pistons stock exchange 2022: Who is on the rise?
Detroit Pistons’ forwards
Hamidou Diallo
I think Diallo has played really well this season considering he’s had his role changed a few times.
He’s made an impact in the starting lineup and gives the Pistons a boost of athleticism that they need. He’s one of their only players who plays above the rim and his non-stop hustle leads to a lot of steals.
He had one of his best games of the season against the Celtics last night and keeps contributing when he gets the chance.
Stock: Up
Josh Jackson
Jackson has been out with injury and wasn’t playing particularly well before he got hurt. He’s probably lost his spot in the rotation and any chance of a trade is probably a pipe dream even though he is on the final year of his deal. Jackson’s time in Detroit is soon to be over.
Stock: Plummeting
Saddiq Bey
Bey’s strong play has continued even after Jerami Grant returned, which is a good sign for the future, as the two look like they can co-exist, especially if Grant is willing to adjust his game.
Bey has now scored at least 20 points in four of the last six games and has really been the Pistons’ most consistent player for most of the season.
Stock: Up
Jerami Grant
Grant has only been back for three games, so it’s hard to say that he is completely back from his injury. He’s done enough to remind teams of what he brings to the table, but I’m not sure his trade value has moved before, during or after his injury. He’s a solid third option, and if he’s willing to be that, the Pistons should just keep him. His desire to be more probably hasn’t helped his trade value.
